English Teacher - Maternity Leaves (Senior High School / SMA)

We are looking for a passionate English Teacher for maternity leaves 3 months contract (SMA level) who can empower students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and future leaders in a diverse learning environment.

Job Description

• Deliver engaging English lessons for Senior High School (SMA) students aligned with National Curriculum and/or international standards
• Apply student-centered learning approaches that promote critical thinking, communication, and creativity
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments (including HOTS-based evaluation)
• Facilitate classroom discussions, presentations, debates, and writing activities
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
• Integrate leadership values and character education into daily teaching practices that respects religious and cultural diversity
• Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development and school programs
• Participate in professional development programs, training, and school activities

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in English Education, English Literature, or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at Senior High School level
3. Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) and classroom management skills
4. Familiar with National Curriculum (experience with Cambridge or international curriculum is a plus)
5. Ability to implement interactive, creative, and student-centered teaching methods
6. Comfortable using digital learning tools (Google Classroom, LMS, etc.)
7. Experience coaching students for competitions (debate, speech, writing)
8. Teaching certification or English proficiency certification (TOEFL / IELTS)
