English Teacher for Kids & Teens - Cempaka Putih

Position Summary

The Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality lessons using English 1's branded content and methodologies. They will ensure learner satisfaction through engaging instruction, effective classroom management, and adherence to English 1's teaching standards. Additional responsibilities include course administration, student progress tracking, parental communication, and supporting center events or marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Student Engagement
2. Deliver high-quality English lessons following English 1's curriculum and methodologies
3. Prepare lesson materials and classroom equipment in advance
4. Begin and end classes on time; be in the class 5 minutes before the start time
5. Utilize audio/video materials and incorporate technology into lessons
6. Develop and use supplementary teaching materials as needed
7. Monitor student progress, administer assessments, and maintain accurate records
8. Ensure students understand and follow safety and behavior policies
9. Administrative & Center Support
10. Maintain up-to-date student and doss records
11. Assist with student placement testing
12. Provide demo lessons and participate in promotional activities as required
13. Support center events, including extracurricular activities, tutorials, and social events
14. Substitute for absent colleagues when necessary
15. Assist with marketing initiatives and the induction of new sales and teaching staff
16. Keep teaching materials and resources organized and in good condition
17. Adhere to English 1's administrative procedures and policies

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree (any field)
2. Strong English proficiency is a must (minimum advanced level)
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
4. Commitment to ongoing professional development
5. Willing to be placed in English 1 Cempaka Putih

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

1. Experience teaching students aged 3-18 years old
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
4. Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented
5. Customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
