Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Primary Special Needs Tutor to provide one-on-one home visit instruction for a primary student with special educational needs. The tutor will deliver engaging and individualized lessons in Mathematics, English, and Science following an International Curriculum, while supporting the student's academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one home visit lessons in Math, English, and Science.
Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to the student's learning needs and abilities.
Adapt teaching strategies and learning materials to accommodate different learning styles.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and evaluate the student's academic progress.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding learning outcomes and development.
Prepare progress reports and recommend appropriate learning strategies.
Collaborate with parents and the academic team to achieve learning goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Primary Education, English Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with students with special educational needs (SEN).
Experience teaching Primary International Curriculum (Cambridge, IGCSE Primary, IPC, Pearson, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized learning approaches.
Able to teach Mathematics, English, and Science at the Primary level.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Patient, caring, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Technology savvy and able to utilize digital learning resources when needed.
Willing to conduct home visit sessions in Puri Indah, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
