Engineering Manager — PT Kapit Mas | Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia
We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and strengthen our engineering function in Bali. This role is ideal for a manufacturing professional who combines strong technical expertise with people leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The Role
As Engineering Manager, you will oversee engineering operations that support manufacturing performance, equipment reliability, fabrication activities, process improvement initiatives, and technical supplier relationships. You will work closely with Production, Quality, PPIC, R&D, and senior leadership to ensure efficient operations while developing the technical capabilities of the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead and develop the Engineering team to support manufacturing operations.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Oversee fabrication activities and engineering improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and PPIC teams to improve operational performance.
• Manage technical relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Support technical problem-solving and root cause analysis for operational issues.
• Monitor engineering performance and ensure departmental targets are achieved.
What We're Looking For :
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• Mandatory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading engineering teams and implementing maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with production processes, quality improvement, and supplier management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Jewelry manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of precious metal production processes.
• Experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing.
• Exposure to international suppliers or manufacturing partners.
