About the Role

On behalf our client, We are seeking an experienced Engineer OIT to support Operational Information Technology (OT) systems within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting industrial data acquisition systems, ensuring reliable data flow between field assets and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain Operational Information Technology (OT) infrastructure.

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AVEVA Historian.

Support SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.

Monitor real-time industrial data acquisition and historian performance.

Ensure reliable data collection from production facilities.

Collaborate with Operations, Instrumentation, Automation, and IT teams.

Perform system health monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Support incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Ensure compliance with HSE and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in OT/Industrial Automation.
• Hands-on experience with:

1. AVEVA Historian
2. SCADA Systems
3. PLC
4. DCS
5. Industrial Data Acquisition

• Familiar with Oil & Gas operational environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite.
