Geekhunter is recruiting on behalf of our client, an Indonesian company engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, and trading of office stationery and filing products.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure smooth execution of all technical and production-related activities.
- Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness are consistently achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D) to support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation within the plant.
- Manage maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to engineering performance, productivity, and project delivery.
- Lead engineering projects, including new product introduction, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
- Mentor and develop team members, building a strong engineering capability within the organization.
- Prepare budgets, control engineering costs, and ensure projects are delivered within scope and timeline.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in engineering roles within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in project management and handling cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems, production planning, and industrial engineering practices.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Proficient in engineering software and Microsoft Office tools.
