Deskripsi pekerjaan EMKL / Customs Clearance Supervisor TOPWORLD DESEN GLOBAL
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and monitor the end-to-end customs clearance process for import shipments.
Coordinate with PPJK, Customs, Bea Cukai, shipping lines, port operators, trucking companies, and warehouses.
Review and monitor import documentation, including PIB and supporting documents.
Monitor customs clearance status and ensure shipments are processed within the required timeline.
Handle and resolve issues related to customs clearance, document discrepancies, inspection, container release, and delivery.
Coordinate with relevant parties regarding SPJM, customs inspection, SPPB, container release, and other customs-related processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian customs procedures and regulations.
Monitor potential demurrage, detention, storage, and other additional operational costs.
Supervise and coordinate EMKL/PPJK operational activities.
Provide regular shipment status updates to management and relevant internal teams.
Maintain proper records of customs clearance and shipment documentation.
Support the operations team in resolving urgent shipment and client issues.
Identify opportunities to improve clearance processes, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
Requirements :
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, EMKL, freight forwarding, logistics, or import operations.
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior operational role is preferred.
Strong understanding of Indonesian customs clearance and import procedures.
Experienced in handling PIB, customs inspection, SPPB, DO, container release, and related import documentation.
Experienced in coordinating with PPJK, Bea Cukai, shipping lines, ports, trucking, and warehouses.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Able to work independently and take ownership of operational issues.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
English proficiency is preferred.
Mandarin is a plus.
