What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery
- Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner to minimise downtime
- Perform repairs and replacements of components as needed
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment is properly calibrated and functioning to specifications
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability
- Comply with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a maintenance or technician role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of production equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance best practices and experience in implementing maintenance programs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments
- Certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred
