Requirements:
- Formal qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry
- Strong technical skills in electrical fault-finding and maintenance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is often a plus
Job Descriptions:
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance, and respond to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Supervise and direct the work of the shift's electrical team, including task assignment, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure all electrical work complies with health, safety, and food safety standards, and conduct safety audits
- Oversee electrical systems to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production lines to meet targets
- Drive initiatives for root cause analysis, implement solutions, and contribute to process and quality improvements
- Manage the engineering stores and ensure necessary parts and supplies are available
- Prepare and submit shift reports on performance, incidents, and other key metrics
