Job Description:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Electrical Installation for Oil & Gas, Offshore, Petrochemical, LNG, or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction and installation practices
- Experience handling electrical equipment installation such as: Transformer, Switchgear, MCC, UPS System, Lighting System, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Cable Tray & Cable Routing
- Familiar with international standards such as: IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NFPA, and NEMA
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Experience working in fabrication yard, offshore platform, or module construction projects
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Willing to work in Batam and project site environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute electrical installation works for Oil & Gas facilities, modules, and offshore structures
- Coordinate installation activities for LV/MV systems, cable tray, cable pulling, grounding, lighting, and electrical equipment
- Review electrical drawings, SLD, hook-up diagrams, layout drawings, and installation procedures
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, construction standards, and HSE requirements
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and client representatives
- Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower productivity, and construction progress
- Conduct inspection and testing activities with QA/QC teams
- Prepare construction reports, progress updates, punch list, and as-built documentation
- Support pre-commissioning, energization, and commissioning activities
- Ensure implementation of PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, and electrical safety procedures
- Identify project risks and propose mitigation plans during construction activities
- Participate in toolbox meetings, HAZID, HAZOP, and safety audits
