Electrician – Job Requirements

1. Education

• Technical diploma or vocational certificate in Electrical / Electronics or a related field.

2. Technical Skills

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, cable termination, lug crimping, and cable dressing.
• Basic troubleshooting of electrical circuits and power equipment.
• Ability to use electrical hand tools and testing instruments safely.

3. Power Systems Experience

• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:

1. UPS systems
2. Rectifiers and DC power systems
3. Battery and charger systems
4. Generators
5. ATS and distribution panels

• Experience in cable installation, termination, labeling, and testing.

4. Tools & Testing

• Experience using:

o Digital multimeter

o Clamp meter

o Insulation tester

o Electrical hand and power tools

• Ability to perform basic electrical measurements and system checks.

5. Experience

• At least 3–5 years of relevant electrical experience.
