About the role
This role involves designing, developing, and installing electrical systems and industrial machine automation. You will work with PLC programming, HMI configuration, inverters/VFD, servo motors, and other automation devices. Your responsibilities include electrical panel installation, maintenance, repair, and ensuring all automation systems operate according to specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and install electrical systems and industrial machine automation
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, inverter/VFD, servo motor, and other automation devices
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical panels, wiring, sensors, electric motors, and machine control systems
- Read and create electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and electrical panel layouts
- Perform commissioning, testing, and ensure automation systems operate according to specifications
- Analyze and repair faults or damage in electrical and machine automation systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure machine reliability
- Integrate automation systems with production equipment and other control systems
- Ensure all work complies with occupational safety standards, electrical standards, and company procedures
- Create work reports, technical documentation, and maintenance and repair records
Qualifications
- Minimum D3/D4/S1 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Experience in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or machine maintenance is valued
- Understanding of PLC programming such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, or Schneider
- Understanding of HMI operation, inverter/VFD, servo drive, sensor, relay, and electric motor
- Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of troubleshooting industrial machine control and electrical systems
- Understanding of basic industrial communication such as Modbus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Understanding of electrical occupational safety practices in the workplace
