Deskripsi pekerjaan EHS Plant Engineer (Environmental, Health, & Safety) PT Sukses Mulia Sinergia
Our client, a prominent multinational manufacturing company in the Kitchen & Bath industry (Indonesia Vitreous Division), is looking for an EHS Plant Engineer. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and participating in the implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and related projects through risk identification.
(Spesific Responsibilities)
- Maintain and apply updated environment, health, and safety policies and guidelines from Global and Regional headquarters.
- Update Indonesian EHS regulations and ensure consistent implementation at the plant.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.
- Maintain EHS Procedure, Work Instruction, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Safety Guidelines.
- Conduct regular Plant Inspection Programs.
- Involve in the investigation of accidents or problems on plant areas and recommend improvement/preventive measures.
- Conduct EHS training programs for associates based on EHS TNA (Training Needs Analysis).
- Encourage associate awareness and recognition to improve safety, health, and environmental issues.
- Identify and coordinate safety improvement plans ensuring the continuous improvement of safety in new or existing processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with the relevant department to provide risk assessment in all activities.
- Maintain and communicate safety-related policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance.
- Prepare Environmental and Safety Reporting to the Indonesian government (UKL-UPL/SIMPEL, SIRAJA LIMBAH, FESTRONIK, P2K3).
(Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in Environment Health and Safety or relevant engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or EHS Supervisor.
- Holding a valid AK3U Umum certificate from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
- Must be proficient in English (both speaking and writing).
- Familiar with working permit systems, contractor safety, and working at height.
- Familiar with OSHA standards.
- Solid experience with hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Proven experience with EHS reporting to the government, especially using SIMPEL.
- Experience with Environment and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and 14001).
- HIRA / IBPR – Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
- SIMPEL (Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Elektronik Lingkungan)
- EHS Reporting (P2K3, SIRAJA, FESTRONIK)
- OSHA Standards
