We are seeking an educator to mentor 6 y.o. twin girls 2nd Grade while serving as Educative Personal Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
1/ Private Governess & Educator Mon-Fri 3-7pm, Sat 10am-4pm
+ Unyielding discipline: facilitating and enforcing daily study schedules, academic checklists, common sense, and etiquette.
+ Academic International-Merdeka Curriculum: guiding and scaffolding STEM curiosity in both English & Bahasa Indonesia.
+ 中文 Literacy: coaching written chinese characters (strictly without pinyin) and fostering immersion through daily practice.
+ School projects: ensuring weekly assignments completion.
+ Approach: patient, engaging, and attuned to child psychology, able to honor and thoroughly answer the children's curiosity until fully understood, fostering strong mutual affection while maintaining firm educational discipline.
2/ Educative Personal Assistant Mon-Fri 10am-3pm
+ Driving/pick up to external engagements using owners’ vehicle.
+ Administrative duties, lesson plan logistics, and home economics errands; exceptional punctuality and zero job-snobbery.
REQUIREMENTS
A. Disciplined female preferred. Open to active retired educators, Diploma (D3/D4), Degree holders (S1/2) in Education, Science, Chinese, Physics, Mathematics, or other related disciplines.
B. Proven track record as an educator or private tutor within International, Hybrid Curriculum, Bilingual, Trilingual schools.
C. Resourceful, assertive, and psychologically equipped to establish healthy boundaries yet nurture inquiry of active 6-years-olds.
D. Proficient driver with a valid driver’s license (SIM A) and navigation confidence in Surabaya. Google Maps use permitted.
E. 2-year contract post probation (4-year extended option available)
OFFICIAL START DATE 21 JUNE 2027
Pre-employment Probation: Saturday/Sunday trial shifts prior to July 2027 to accommodate candidates who are currently employed.
