Deskripsi pekerjaan E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS SPECIALIST PT Global Alpha Logistics
RESPONSIBILITIES
- International Shipment Management: Managing end-to-end logistics from factories/suppliers in the origin country to delivery at the domestic warehouse (via air/sea freight).
- Coordination: Actively communicating with freight forwarding agents, airlines/shipping lines, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Customs Clearance Compliance: Preparing, verifying, and processing all import/export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Special Permits, etc.).
- Shipment Tracking & Monitoring: Tracking cargo positions in real-time and resolving any transit or delays.
- Cost Management & Efficiency: Calculating landed cost estimations (import duties, customs taxes, shipping fees) and negotiating freight rates to optimize budget.
- Warehouse System Synchronization: Coordinating with the local warehouse team regarding inbound planning to ensure smooth unloading processes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in International Logistics, Export-Import, or Cross-Border E-Commerce.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (both verbal and written), proven by a valid TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS certificate.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Customs Clearance procedures, local import regulations, customs systems, and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) is not necessary, but it is certainly a plus
- Additional Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for logistics data analysis.
- Traits: Strong attention to detail with quick problem-solving skills.
