CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS: MID-LEVEL DROOLS DEVELOPER

Drools & BRMS Expertise

• 3+ years of experience writing and managing complex business rules using Drools Rule Language (DRL) and Decision Tables (Excel).

• Solid understanding of Drools core concepts, including agenda-groups, activation-groups, salience, and ruleflow.

• Hands-on experience with KIE Server, Business Central, or KIE Workbench for rule authoring and deployment.

Java & Frameworks

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented design patterns.

• Proven experience integrating Drools with Spring Boot or Quarkus frameworks.

• Proficient in writing automated unit tests for rule validation using JUnit and KieSession.

Integration & Data Tools

• Ability to design efficient Fact Models (data structures) for optimal rule engine performance.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with JSON/XML formats.

• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle for managing dependencies and packaging KJARs.
