Job Description

1. Prepare and develop MEP shop drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) based on approved design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
2. Produce as-built drawings reflecting actual site conditions after installation.
3. Prepare layouts, schematics, sections, and detailed drawings for MEP systems.
4. Coordinate MEP shop drawings with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to avoid clashes and conflicts.
5. Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
6. Revise and update drawings according to design changes, site conditions, or consultant comments.
7. Review and check shop drawings to ensure compliance with technical specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.
8. Ensure all drawings meet company and project quality requirements before submission.
9. Conduct site surveys when required to collect actual field data for drawing development.
10. Provide technical drawing support to site teams during construction and respond to site-related drawing issues.
11. Manage, organize, and archive all MEP drawings and revisions properly.
12. Prepare drawing submission records, revision logs, and progress reports as required by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum SMK / Diploma / Bachelor' s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering fields.
2. Proven experience in MEP shop drawing or drafting for construction projects (building, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects).
3. Experience working on site-based projects is an advantage.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
5. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
6. Good coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
7. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
8. Visit project sites when required.
9. Able to work independently as well as part of a project team.
