We are looking for Drafter & Estimator!
About the Role
As a Drafter & Estimator, you'll join our Business Development team, working directly with our architects to prepare working drawings (shop drawings) and develop project cost estimates. This role is critical: your work forms the basis for both design decisions and business decisions on every project we take on.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine working drawings (shop drawings, detail drawings) based on designs from the architecture team
- Develop Bills of Quantity (BoQ) and cost budgets (RAB) for construction projects
- Calculate work volumes and estimate material and labor costs
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings and estimates align with on-site realities
- Maintain and organize drawing and estimation documents in an accurate, systematic manner
Qualifications
- Minimum D3/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD (required); familiarity with estimation software (advanced Excel or other RAB tools) is a plus
- Open to fresh graduates who are already skilled in drafting software, as well as candidates with 1-2 years of experience in construction drafting/estimation
- Detail-oriented, patient, and comfortable working with numbers
- Able to work both collaboratively and independently under clear deadlines
- Basic understanding of reading architectural and structural drawings is an advantage
