ABOUT
PT. Mahakarya Sabda Alam is a mobile-first marketplace connecting international tourists with trusted local vendors in Bali. We're building the first digital layer over a market that's still almost entirely informal. The product is live and the launch campaign starts June 2026. This hire is the person who makes that happen.
ROLE
You will work as a part of a marketing team and be responsible for execution and strategy implementation throughout the campaign. You will manage a small specialist team. You make things happen without being told twice. This is a builder role. There's no legacy to inherit, no playbook to follow. You'll be helping to create the systems, channels, and content pipelines that will run on for the next 12 months and beyond.
DUTIES
• Support the ground team acquiring vendors across Bali - collateral, onboarding materials, messaging
• Managing marketing accounts, tracking, and tooling
• Helping build the content pipeline and SEO foundation
• Run acquisition campaign across Google, Facebook, Reddit, and more
• Manage remote specialists in SEO, paid ads, and social/community - brief them, hold them accountable, escalate issues
• Performance reporting and optimise based on what's working
• Building presence in social groups like Reddit communities where planners research Bali
• Lead influencer seeding - identify the right people, outreach, manage relationships
• Ensure the brands voice is consistent across everything customer-facing.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Ownership mentality - you treat the business like it's yours. You don't wait to be asked.
• Digital marketing literacy across SEO, paid ads, social, and community - you can brief specialists, spot bad work, and ask the right questions
• Clear communicator in English - written and spoken.
• Comfortable building from scratch - no playbook yet, and you're fine with that
• Organised under pressure - you're coordinating with management and teams remote and in person from day one
• Indonesian fluency - essential for managing the outreach teams
• Bali or tourism market experience - understanding of how tourists and local vendors interact and operate
• Startup or early-stage background - you know how to do a lot with a little
• Content instinct - you know what makes a good hook, what feels authentic vs generic.
• 3 years experience in marketing
