We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and deployment systems that support high-performance applications and business operations. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to improve reliability, security, deployment velocity, and overall system efficiency.
DevOps Engineer
Core Skills
- CI/CD — Design, build, and maintain deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD
- Cloud Platforms — Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure across compute, networking, storage, IAM, and cloud-native service
- Infrastructure as Code — Proficient in Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for scalable infrastructure provisioning
- Containerization & Orchestration — Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerized environments
- Scripting & Automation — Strong automation skills using Python, Bash, or Go
- Monitoring & Observability — Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, and log aggregation tools
- Networking — Solid understanding of DNS, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, VPCs, and cloud networking architecture
- Security — Knowledge of secrets management (Vault), RBAC, vulnerability scanning, and infrastructure security best practices
- Version Control — Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure environments
- Manage and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines across multiple products and engineering teams
- Lead incident response processes, root cause analysis, postmortems, and reliability improvements aligned with SLOs/SLAs
- Enforce infrastructure security standards and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs and resource utilization
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical growth within the team
- Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern infrastructure tooling and DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments
- Experience working in fast-paced and collaborative engineering teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost governance practices
- Experience supporting high-traffic production systems and distributed architectures
