The Role
We're looking for an Interior Designer who doesn't just design beautiful spaces — but knows exactly how to make them real.
You'll work from our studio in Jakarta, collaborating closely with our Project Management and Production teams to bring commercial interiors to life. This isn't a render farm. You'll be involved from concept through execution — presenting to clients, coordinating with the field, and owning your work from first sketch to final handover.
If you care deeply about the details, have strong opinions about good design, and want to see your work actually built — this is your seat.
What You'll Do
Develop interior design concepts for commercial, office, and retail fit-out projects
Produce technical drawings, material boards, and 3D visualizations for client presentations
Present design concepts directly to clients and building representatives with confidence
Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, and the Production workshop to ensure design intent is maintained through execution
Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve on-site design issues
Stay current with commercial interior trends and translate them into practical, buildable ideas
Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing quality or attention to detail
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design — commercial, office, or retail projects preferred
Strong portfolio demonstrating design range, spatial thinking, and executed (not just rendered) projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape and Adobe Photoshop
Fluent in English — written and spoken. You'll be in the room with senior clients
Confident, well-presented, and articulate — you represent Intermulti every time you meet a client
Understands the difference between designing something and building something — and bridges that gap naturally
Proud of your work. Detail-obsessed. Not afraid to push back on a bad idea
Nice to Have:
Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
Familiarity with BOQ or material specification documents
Experience presenting to C-suite or Director-level clients
