Design Development & Production:
Job Description
- Research and develop collection concepts, including themes, colors, fabrics, materials
- Source fabrics, trims, and production vendors.
- Develop product specifications and manage sampling process.
- Prepare production planning for new collection or restocks, including quantity forecasting, COGS calculation, and production breakdown.
- Coordinate production schedule with vendors and ensure on-time delivery.
- Handle production administration, including purchase orders, goods receiving, quality control, and rejected goods.
- Ensure product quality meets brand standards throughout production.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Strong trend forecasting, color sense, and product development skills.
- Experience in the modest fashion industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, materials, and production processes.
- Experienced in fabric and vendor sourcing.
- Knowledge of costing (COGS), production planning, and quality control.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to coordinate with multiple vendors and ensure production timelines are met.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
