Junior Interior Designer / Junior Architect

About House of Tin
House of Tin designs and manufactures custom furniture, cabinetry and architectural joinery for residential, hospitality and commercial projects across Indonesia.
We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer or Junior Architect to join our team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys technical detailing, problem solving and working closely with production to ensure every project is manufactured accurately and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce 3D models using SketchUp.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for production.
- Create technical drawings and shop drawings for custom furniture and built-in cabinetry.
- Read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Develop furniture details suitable for manufacturing.
- Prepare material schedules and production documentation.
- Coordinate with the production team and craftsmen throughout the manufacturing process.
- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections and installation support.
- Assist with quality control before delivery and installation.
- Help manage project timelines and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Proficient in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Able to read technical drawings and floor plans.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with designers, project managers and craftsmen.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- Furniture or cabinetry detailing
- Joinery or woodworking knowledge
- Layout
- Enscape or V-Ray
- Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Quantity take-offs or material scheduling
What We Offer
- Salary: IDR 5,000,000–9,000,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 office days, 2 days WFH or site visits)
