Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying and managing complex software architectures, including expertise in MQTT, Apache Kafka, as well as containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Your role will be critical in ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and optimized for high performance.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage software architectures, including MQTT and Apache Kafka.
- Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Ensure high-availability, perform load balancing, and conduct disaster recovery planning.
- Work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and integrate best practices.
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in deployment and containerization.
- Deploy physical servers, configure switches, and set up firewalls.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and integrate continuous testing and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in deployment engineering, including experience with MQTT, Apache Kafka, Docker/Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of high-availability strategies, load balancing, and disaster recovery techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in deploying physical servers and configuring network equipment like switches and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools.
