Deskripsi pekerjaan Database Engineer PT Neural Technologies Indonesia (Official)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design efficient database structures, create stored procedures, and perform database tuning
- Support developers in application/service development, focusing on database design, query design, performance tuning, and indexing strategies
- Review all new queries before deployment to production in collaboration with the developer team
- Monitor and maintain query performance in production databases
- Maintain and enhance the performance of existing database programs
- Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform debugging on database scripts and programs, and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Assist developers in identifying problematic queries and provide troubleshooting and tuning support
- Develop best practices for query design aligned with company data structures to improve efficiency and performance
- Manage database indexing (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and SQL Server)
- Schedule and maintain data automation jobs for application monitoring
- Build and optimize queries to retrieve data from SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Hadoop Big Data
Requirements:
- Age between 20 – 35 years old
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in IT, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL Query
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Familiar with ETL / Data Pipelining concepts
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome if they have strong relevant skills)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
