Job Description:
Proficient in MySQL, MariaDB, and/or PostgreSQL, Oracle
Skilled in database installation, configuration, performance tuning, and optimization.
Experience in query optimization, indexing, and handling large datasets from campaigns and user engagement logs.
Knowledge in setting up replication, failover, and clustering for high availability (HA).
Strong understanding of backup & recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
Capable of managing Multiple Large & Complex databased.
Understanding of data structures Multiple Large & Complex databased.
Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and with basic shell scripting (Bash).
Experience in system integration via APIs (REST, HTTP), particularly for data retrieval and reporting.
Requirements:
Detail-oriented and responsive, especially in supporting real-time service
Able to collaborate effectively with both technical teams (developers, infrastructure) and non-technical
teams.
Good communication skills and strong initiative in identifying and solving system bottlenecks.
Willing to be on-call or work outside normal hours during major campaign rollouts.
Experience in data monetization for VAS/content services.
Familiarity with monitoring dashboards such as Grafana, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
Understanding of data privacy compliance (e.g., for customer data used in marketing).
Experience supporting or working with internal content management systems (CMS).
DBA certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL DBA, PostgreSQL Certified).
Knowledge or experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL) on-prem to cloud migration.
