About the Role
Our client, one of Indonesia's leading insurance companies, is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing data team. This role is responsible for building reliable data pipelines, managing data integration processes, and supporting enterprise data warehouse initiatives to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect and integrate data from multiple sources including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, and other data sources.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data integration.
- Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure high data quality and consistency.
- Identify data anomalies and implement solutions to improve data accuracy.
- Design, develop, and optimize Data Warehouse architecture based on business requirements.
- Monitor and improve data pipeline performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and data governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, BI Developer, or similar role.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience developing ETL processes using any ETL tools or scripting.
- Experience in Data Warehouse design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience working with Excel and integrating various data sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, or Apache Airflow.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
- Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry is an advantage.
