The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing our databases and data processing systems, ensuring optimal data delivery architecture throughout ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines to enable efficient data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Database Management: Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Data Transformation and Processing: Implement complex data processing and transformation algorithms.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data integrity and speed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to optimize data usage and business decision-making.
- Data Governance: Implement data security, data privacy and data policy practices and comply with data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, Python, databases, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Database Versioning Knowledge: Strong understanding of database version control methods and tools to manage and track changes in database schemas and configurations (e.g Bytebase, Liquibase)
- Git Proficiency: Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with Git for source code and version control management (e.g Github, Gitlab)
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and organize complex data sets for business insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to be placed in Jakarta.
