Responsibilities:
- Ensure the data center's electrical systems (UPS, generators, power distribution) operate optimally and in compliance with standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs when electrical issues arise.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure stable and efficient power availability.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable safety standards (IEC, NEC).
- Record maintenance activities and the status of electrical systems regularly.
- Conduct process escalation and monthly reports.
- Record and report any abnormal conditions, disturbances, or critical events in daily logs and operational reports.
- Accompany vendors, auditors, or guests during visits to the server room, and ensure visitor registration and security procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical systems, particularly in data centers, or fresh graduates are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems (UPS, generators, PDUs) and international electrical standards.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve electrical issues quickly.
- Willing to work in shifts (including nights and public holidays) under a 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule.
