Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Starcade, you will play a crucial role in driving data-informed decisions to enhance the player experience and optimize game performance. You will collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and product managers to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within our game data. Your work will directly contribute to the iterative development process, ensuring that our games are both entertaining and profitable.

Responsibilities:

· Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources, including in-game events, user interactions, and monetization transactions.

· Analyze player behavior, gameplay patterns, and engagement metrics to provide actionable insights for game design improvements and feature enhancements.

· Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, aiding in data-driven decision-making.

· Perform A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to assess the impact of different game mechanics, features, and monetization strategies.

· Assist in analyzing and A/B testing advertising campaigns to reduce CPI, increase retention and maximize ROAS.

· Monitor game performance metrics and identify anomalies or trends that require immediate attention, suggesting corrective actions when necessary.

· Contribute to the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast player behavior, retention, and monetization.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of game analytics and data analysis.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related disciplines.

· Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably within the gaming industry.

· Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.

· Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

· Experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.

· Knowledge of mobile gaming mechanics, trends, and player behavior is advantageous.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative, and results-oriented environment.

· Passion for gaming and a genuine interest in understanding player motivations and preferences.

· High GPA in university.
