Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to hotel standards and recipes
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent
- Assist in breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event preparation
- Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning, sauce preparation, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area and cooking equipment
- Ensure all food storage follows hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor stock usage and inform supervisor about low inventory
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow SOP, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist senior cook/CDP with daily operational tasks
- Maintain proper food handling to avoid contamination or waste
- Help with kitchen closing and opening procedures
- Ensure punctuality and readiness during shift operations
- Support teamwork and communication between kitchen and service team
Requirements
- Minimum basic experience in kitchen/cooking operations
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Good attitude, discipline, and teamwork
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety is preferred
- Placement in Ubud area preferred
Preferred Skills
- Basic Indonesian & Western cooking knowledge
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment
- Fast learner and willing to improve skills
- Good personal grooming and cleanliness
