The Daily Worker Bar Waiter is responsible for providing courteous, efficient and professional food and beverage service at the hotel bar while ensuring guest satisfaction. The role assists in serving beverages and light meals, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area and supporting the bar operations in accordance with hotel standards, hygiene regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities :
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at the bar.
- Present beverage and food menus, explain menu items, and recommend drinks or promotions.
- Take guest orders accurately and communicate them promptly to Food & Beverage Manager.
- Serve beverages and food in accordance with hotel service standards.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Handle guest requests and minor complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Serve snacks and light meals according to service procedures.
- Monitor guest tables and replenish beverages or clear used items as needed.
- Ensure orders are delivered correctly and within the expected service time.
- Prepare the bar and service area before opening.
- Set up tables, chairs, glassware, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and guest seating areas.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and equipment after guest use.
- Assist with closing duties and ensure the bar is clean and ready for the next operation.
