Job Description – Cybersecurity Specialist
1. Offensive Security & Penetration Testing
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web applications, APIs, and other systems
- Perform attack simulations (red teaming / exploitation) to evaluate system security
- Conduct security audits on cloud environments and IT infrastructure
2. Network Security Analysis
- Analyze network traffic to detect suspicious or malicious activities
- Perform security hardening and configuration (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Investigate security incidents and identify root causes of attacks
3. Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Support
- Support the sales team in presenting cybersecurity solutions to clients
- Conduct technical discussions and gather system requirements from users/clients
- Prepare Proof of Concept (PoC) and technical documents (RFP/SoW)
4. Reporting & Remediation
- Prepare testing reports (technical details & executive summaries)
- Provide remediation recommendations based on risk levels
- Perform re-validation after fixes or improvements are implemented
Qualifications – Cybersecurity Specialist
1. Education & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security
- Hands-on experience in penetration testing and network security analysis
2. Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
- Familiar with tools such as Kali Linux, Wireshark, and similar tools
- Solid understanding of network security (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Familiar with frameworks such as OWASP, PTES, or OSSTMM
3. Certifications (Preferred)
- OSCP / CPENT / GPEN
- CCNP Security / PCNSE
- CISA
4. Soft Skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (clients/sales team)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
