About the Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our company's systems, data and digital assets from both external cyber threats and internal security risks.
You will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities, strengthening our security practices, monitoring potential risks and ensuring sensitive company, client and candidate data are properly protected.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and assess cybersecurity risks across company systems, devices, applications and data.
- Identify and address vulnerabilities, security gaps and potential points of attack.
- Conduct security testing, vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing where required.
- Monitor and investigate suspicious activities, unauthorised access and potential security incidents.
- Develop and maintain internal information security policies, procedures and access controls.
- Review how employees access, store, transfer and share sensitive company and customer data.
- Support data protection, compliance and security governance requirements.
- Work with teams to implement appropriate security controls.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations to identify the cause and impact.
- Conduct regular security reviews and provide recommendations to management.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT security or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, security testing or penetration testing.
- Understanding of network, application, endpoint and data security.
- Knowledge of security policies, risk management and access control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working hands-on while also advising and guiding internal teams.
- Experience in a cybersecurity company, IT security consultancy or software/technology environment is an advantage.
