Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Possess cybersecurity-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst (additional advantage).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud security monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Proficient in working with SIEM tools, threat detection platforms, and cloud-native security tools.
- Experienced in security incident analysis, log investigation, and alert handling.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud security principles.
- Capable of configuring and tuning alerts on monitoring platforms.
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams (security, infrastructure, DevOps).
- Ability to prepare clear and systematic incident reports and mitigation recommendations.
- Able to provide security recommendations for cloud environments.
- Experience in managing CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Responsibility:
- Monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) using the provided tools.
- Respond to alerts and potential incidents.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Security, Infrastructure, DevOps) for escalation and mitigation.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on security status and recommendations.
- Perform tuning and optimization of monitoring configurations as needed.
- Maintain systematic documentation of activities and incident tracking.
- Generate daily and weekly monitoring reports.
- Document incidents and mitigation actions.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements and tuning.
- Monitor activity logs and track alerts.
