Job Summary:
We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer for our client—an organization committed to building a strong and proactive security posture. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 security and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) who also excels in incident detection and response.
We’re looking for a professional with good English communication skills, a strong track record of long-term employment, and a desire to grow with our client in a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft 365 security tools such as Defender for Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, and Azure AD.
- Support cloud security across Azure and AWS environments.
- Lead and assist in incident detection, analysis, and response across multiple systems
- Review logs, alerts, and dashboards daily to identify potential threats
- Assist in conducting vulnerability scans, internal audits, and basic penetration testing.
- Implement and update basic security policies, procedures, and awareness initiatives.
- Support the development of incident response plans and security metrics (KPI, KRI).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement security improvements.
- Maintain documentation for security controls and processes.
- Support external client audits and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering, with proven track record of handling security incidents.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud security features.
- Good command of English (spoken and written) for daily communication with internal and external teams.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar).
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Able to work both independently and in a team.
- Proactive, responsible, and open to continuous improvement.
