Key Responsibilities:
Customs Clearance Operations
Handle import and export customs clearance processes from document preparation to cargo release.
Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations through the Indonesian Customs system.
Ensure all customs documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Coordinate with Customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, airlines, warehouses, and other related parties.
Monitor customs clearance status and resolve any customs-related issues promptly.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Indonesian Customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements.
Advise management and clients on customs requirements, import/export restrictions, and licensing requirements.
Maintain proper records and documentation for customs audits and inspections.
Classification & Duty Calculation
Determine the correct HS Code classification for imported and exported goods.
Calculate customs duties, taxes, and other applicable charges accurately.
Verify import permits, certificates, and supporting documents required by government agencies.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare customs clearance reports and operational updates.
Maintain organized filing systems for customs records and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and management reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Customs, or a related field.
Valid PPJK (Customs Brokerage) Certification with a minimum of 5 years of continuous validity and professional practice in customs clearance operations.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian Customs regulations and import/export procedures.
Familiarity with customs systems and electronic customs submission platforms.
Good understanding of HS Code classification, customs valuation, and trade compliance.
Speak English Fluently.
