We are seeking an Curriculum Lead to own the design and development of our specialized inclusive academic frameworks.
About the Role
The Curriculum Lead owns the design, development, and differentiation of the school’s academic curriculum. Working under the Education Lead, you will ensure the curriculum framework is level-appropriate, aligned with inclusive education standards, and adapted so every child can access it. You will support and coach Classroom Leads on curriculum delivery but will not hold direct line-management supervision over them.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education (Pendidikan Luar Biasa), Educational Psychology, or related specializations.
- Experience: Proven specialized experience in curriculum design, instructional framework development, or academic differentiation within special needs education, remedial educational programs, or premium inclusive learning spaces.
- Core Competencies: Expert-level mastery of curriculum mapping, task analysis, material differentiation for diverse learning profiles, and implementing pedagogy training modules for teachers.
- Language: Fluent in speaking English and excellent professional communication in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional structural planning skills, high creative-analytical balance, strong peer-coaching and modeling capabilities, and absolute compliance with safety/safeguarding policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Framework Design: Design, maintain, and continuously improve the curriculum framework, schemes of work, and specialized teaching resources tailored for an inclusive special-needs environment.
- Inclusion & Differentiation: Adapt curriculum structures to enable complete classroom differentiation, ensuring learning plans directly line up with each child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- Teacher Coaching & Pedagogy Training: Support and coach classroom teachers on curriculum delivery, model exemplary classroom practices, and design and deliver teaching method (pedagogy) training blocks.
- Quality Monitoring: Review curriculum efficacy across all classrooms regularly in partnership with the Education Lead and track learning data points against current frameworks.
- Records & Resource Validation: Keep complete, updated, and highly confidential records of all curriculum documents, frameworks, and lesson materials. Request educational materials through the Education Lead.
