Job description for Culinary & Baking Training & Roadshow Executive at Walker Solutions

Walker Group

Walker Group is a growing F&B ecosystem supporting entrepreneurs, home-based food businesses, and start-ups through hands-on culinary and baking training, workshops, and live roadshow activations. We are seeking a Culinary & Baking Training & Roadshow Executive who is passionate about food, enjoys practical teaching and live demonstrations, and is confident engaging with people in both classroom and event settings.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary & Baking Training

  • Assist in delivering hands-on culinary and baking classes following an 80% practical, 20% theory approach

Support the execution of:

  • Corporate workshops
  • Short courses and practical food business programs

Demonstrate and assist in teaching:

  • Baking fundamentals (cakes, pastries, breads)
  • Basic culinary skills (Western, Asian, and Fusion cuisine)

Prepare ingredients, recipes, and training materials for classes

Support students during practical sessions and maintain kitchen discipline

Roadshows & Live Demonstrations

  • Support and participate in roadshows, pop-ups, and live cooking or baking demonstrations
  • Engage customers in a professional and confident manner
  • Explain course offerings, workshops, and product benefits clearly
  • Assist promoters by answering basic technical questions and encouraging customer sign-ups

Training Operations & Quality

  • Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards are strictly followed
  • Prepare and manage tools, equipment, and ingredients for training sessions and events
  • Coordinate closely with trainers, promoters, and operations teams

✅ Requirements

Background or strong interest in:

  • Baking
  • Culinary arts
  • Food & Beverage industry

Willingness to learn and take a hands-on approach

Comfortable communicating with customers and working in a team environment

Able to work weekends, events, and roadshows

Nice-to-Have

Experience in training, events, or customer-facing roles

Interest in food business or entrepreneurship
