Job Summary
The Market Maker role supports market making activities at GudangKripto through data analysis, Excel-based reporting, and market monitoring. This position requires strong analytical thinking and advanced Excel skills. Trading experience is an advantage, but not mandatory, as the selected candidate will be guided and mentored directly by the Market Making team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze daily trading data using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Build, maintain, and improve analytical spreadsheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Monitor price movements, volume, and liquidity of crypto assets.
- Prepare analytical reports and insights to support market making decisions.
- Assist in executing market making strategies under the guidance of the MM team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure market stability and efficiency.
- Continuously learn market dynamics, trading flows, and internal tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills are mandatory, including: Complex formulas, Pivot tables, Data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with numbers and datasets.
- Trading experience (crypto, stocks, or forex) is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interest in crypto markets and trading.
- Prior exposure to trading or market data.
- Basic understanding of trading concepts such as order books, spreads, volume, and volatility.
- Familiarity with additional analytical tools (e.g. Python or SQL) is a plus.
