Creative Media & Communications Officer
Job Description
The Creative Media & Communications Officer is responsible for supporting Yayasan Senyum Bali’s communication, media, and public engagement activities through creative content, storytelling, documentation, and digital communication. This role works closely with the Fundraising & Public Relations Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Chairperson to strengthen public awareness, partner communication, and fundraising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication & Public Relations
- Support daily communication with patients, families, sponsors, hospital partners, communities, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with media, partners, and collaborators.
- Prepare communication materials such as updates, newsletters, reports, and correspondence.
- Support advocacy, awareness, and outreach activities through coordination and documentation.
2. Creative Content & Media
- Create and produce engaging visual and written content for social media, campaigns, reports, and promotional materials.
- Collect and document photos, videos, testimonials, patient stories, surgeries, events, and foundation activities.
- Assist in storytelling and campaign content to support fundraising and public awareness.
- Organize and maintain media archives and communication materials.
3. Social Media & Digital Communication
- Manage and publish content across digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and website updates.
- Monitor audience engagement, messages, comments, and online interactions.
- Support content planning and provide simple performance insights and reports.
4. Campaign & Event Support
- Support communication and media needs for fundraising events, campaigns, presentations, and public activities.
- Prepare promotional materials such as posters, invitations, and digital assets.
- Assist with event documentation and post-event reporting.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Work under the supervision of the Fundraising & Public Relations Coordinator.
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and related teams for communication and media activities.
- Maintain organized communication records, reports, and documentation.
Job Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in communications, social media, content creation, design, or related creative fields (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply).
- Skilled in graphic design and content creation using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.
- Able to create photo, video, and written content for social media and communication purposes.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and digital communication trends.
- Comfortable working in dynamic field activities, including documentation of patients, events, outreach, and foundation programs.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage media files and communication documentation properly.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff, volunteers, partners, and communities.
- Passionate about social work, humanitarian issues, and making positive community impact.
- Photography, videography, or video editing skills will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel if needed for foundation activities and outreach programs.
