Creative Group Head
Job Description:
- Lead and oversee four creative-related departments to ensure strong collaboration and alignment.
- Set clear creative direction, priorities, quality standards, and ways of working across teams.
- Guide department heads, team leads, and senior team members without micromanaging.
- Monitor team performance, workload, project progress, and overall delivery.
- Ensure creative projects, content, and campaigns are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
- Review key creative concepts and provide clear, practical, and constructive feedback.
- Work closely with Account, Sales, Project Management, and other teams to align creative execution with business and client needs.
- Resolve cross-department issues, manage priorities, and make decisions under tight deadlines.
- Build effective creative workflows and systems that support consistent quality and team growth.
- Report creative performance, challenges and improvement plans to management.
Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience in a media company, digital agency, creative agency, or content-focused environment.
- At least 3-4 years of experience leading team leads, senior team members, or multiple departments.
- Strong leadership skills, including delegation, coaching, decision-making, performance management and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to align different teams toward shared goals, priorities and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content, including trends, formats and performance.
- Good knowledge of content planning, video production, editing workflows and realistic delivery timelines.
- Experience building scalable creative systems and workflows, not only one-off campaigns.
- Calm, structured, and decisive when handling pressure, changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Able to balance creative quality, business needs, team capacity and project timelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with management, clients and cross-functional teams.
