Role Description
The Cost & Inventory Control role is a full-time, on-site position based in Manyar, Gresik. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting production and product costs, ensuring accurate cost allocation and supporting pricing decisions. The position involves managing inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies between physical and system inventory. The role includes preparing cost variance analyses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Daily tasks also involve collaborating with production, procurement, and finance teams to maintain accurate data, improve processes, and support internal audits and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical vs. system stock controls and verifications
- Ensure accurate recording of incoming/outgoing materials and production usage
- Collaborate directly with the warehouse and production teams
- Analyze material and cost variances
- Develop and control COGS and BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Assist in building organized recording systems as a foundation for ERP implementation
- Prepare reports on material usage, production costing, and stock variances
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Cost Control, or Inventory Control within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Solid Finance knowledge to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Strong understanding of COGS, BOM, production flow, and inventory management
- Willingness to work on-site in the warehouse and production areas
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; familiarity with manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Experience with inventory control, stock reconciliation, and ERP or inventory management systems.
Work Location
Initial placement: Manyar Plant, Gresik, Jawa Timur
Will also interface with the Romokalisari Plant and Head Office in Surabaya
