The F&B Cost Control role is a contract, on-site position based in Bintaro, South Tangerang. The role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing food and beverage costs, including daily tracking of inventory usage, wastage, and variance between theoretical and actual costs. The individual will review purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receiving reports to ensure accurate pricing and adherence to budget targets. They will coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain portion control standards, update cost sheets and menus, and support forecasting and budgeting activities. The role also includes preparing regular cost reports, highlighting trends and discrepancies, and recommending cost-optimization measures while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, with a strong understanding of cost control in a hospitality or restaurant environment minimal 2 Year(s)
- Strong Customer Service orientation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams and support internal stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present cost reports clearly and work cross-functionally with culinary and finance teams.
- Basic Culinary Skills to understand recipes, portion sizes, and production processes that impact food and beverage costs.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets or cost control software, and comfort working with numerical data and variance analysis.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a methodical approach to documentation and reporting.
- Prior experience in F&B cost control, inventory management, or related roles is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
