This individual has the potential to write and edit copy for cross-channel assets, including print, digital, email, and social. The right candidate will be able to deliver engaging, focused, accurate copy for a wide variety of projects; own assignments from concept to initial draft to deployment; and contribute to the evolution of our brand voice.
Product Copy Editing, Writing and Information Upload
To ensure the team produces clear, concise and accurate product copies for the weekly uploads
To ensure the copies reflect the aim, value, JADE's style and tone of each business units
To meet daily, weekly and seasonal targets with regards to the Product Copywriting aspect of studio process
To deliver strong detail information against product offering in correct fashion technical terms
To cross-check Brand Profiles every season to ensure the unique selling points of JADE's products are clearly communicated to the customers
To ensure product measurements are taken across full product offering in a time-efficient manner prior to upload to our online site
To enter relevant additional product details from upload perspective
To carry out regular checks on all copies in weekly uploads to live site
Ability to create and maintain ‘JADE's Style’/key word index/Product Copywriting Guideline documents
To work with other members of the Product Copywriting team once information has been uploaded to make sure final assets are correct
To organise/store files in logical formats
Responsibilities & Duties
Research and gather information about products, competitors, and trends.
Write clear, concise, engaging copy for marketing, editorial, and seasonal campaigns.
Self-edit and proof to ensure information is factually and grammatically correct and, most importantly, on brand.
Develop productive, collaborative partnerships with designers, fellow writers, marketing team, and merchants.
Attend creative planning and strategy meetings and stay up to date on trends in luxury fashion, news, pop culture, and beauty to better inform writing projects.
Work with internal teams to ensure copy is delivered consistently across channels.
Minimum three years’ experience writing copy for websites and/or print marketing.
Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in advertising, marketing, journalism, or English, or commensurate professional experience in those fields.
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
Ability to write quickly, accurately, and creatively under pressure.
Ability to adapt to change and make last-minute revisions based on business needs and direction.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
