Cook Duties and Responsibilities
• Setting up, Cleaning and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitized
• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items are received and are good quality
• Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift
• Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system
• Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor when stock is low
• Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
• Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
• Handling multiple food orders at one time
• Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive
• Dressing order for presentation
• Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
• Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner
• Storing all food properly
• Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
• Reordering stock and food supplies
• Monitoring other cooks and team members
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
Cook Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma (SMK) in culinary or related
• Minimal 20 years old
• Maximal 35 years old
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Minimal 1 year Previous experience as a cook, or relevant work experience in the same position
• Have experience minimal 1 year in the kitchen (Western and Nusantara)
• Can work under pressure, hard worker, honest and high initiative
• Willing to work shifts and public holidays
• Strong discipline and willing to learn.
• Have good knife skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
• Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders
• Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
• Able to read and write
• Placement in Cikajang, Jakarta Selatan
