Job Description
As a Cook & Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and authentic pizzas while maintaining consistency, food safety, and kitchen efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare, stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure all food is presented to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Monitor food stock and assist with inventory control.
- Ensure proper food storage and FIFO procedures are followed.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in menu development and recipe improvements when required.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Support other kitchen sections during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or Pizza Maker in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel.
- Experience operating gas, or electric pizza ovens.
- Good understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, disciplined, and responsible.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
