Contract Engineer (Project)

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare, review, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
2. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
3. Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks or issues.
4. Coordinate with project, procurement, legal, and commercial teams to resolve contractual matters.
5. Review contract terms, variations, claims, and change orders.
6. Maintain proper contract documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Support contract negotiations and provide recommendations to minimize commercial risks.
8. Prepare regular reports related to contract status and project progress.
   

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Contract Engineer or in contract administration (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply if applicable).
3. Good understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and project documentation.
4. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of contract management systems is an advantage.
7. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
