Du Anyam is a social enterprise empowering women in rural Indonesia by co-creating heritage weaves into contemporary corporate gifts. For over a decade now we create income and opportunities that can be hard to find in remote communities, giving women a greater chance to shape their own lives. Now, we’re looking for a Content Specialist who believes in what we do and enjoys content work so much that it doesn’t feel like work.

You can turn almost anything you discover into an idea—from cryptocurrency to taphonomy to sustainability policy, and anything in between.

You think in concepts.

You can distill complexity into something that sounds simple and sharp. You spot connections others might miss and find an emotional or unexpected angle in almost anything.

You know that content is bigger than words.

You’re interested in how an idea comes to life, not just what it says. A short-form video, a new social format, an emerging app, a visual treatment, a trend everyone is suddenly talking about, or maybe something that hasn’t been invented yet. You have the instinct to know which format will make an idea land.

You have a sharp eye.

You notice when something is just slightly off—composition, typography, photography, color, pacing—the tiny details that make something feel considered. You don’t have to be a designer, but you should know good visual work when you see it.

You’re reflective, but you make things happen.

You can find something human in an ordinary subject without making it sentimental or predictable. And once you see the idea, you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and make it happen.

You’re comfortable with the unfamiliar.

Fintech, architecture, climate, corporate business, village economies, what not. Different industries, different audiences, different worlds—you’re game. You don’t need to know everything before you start; you enjoy figuring things out.

You like small teams with big dreams.

We’re a small team, which means you’ll think, make, question, experiment, and build solutions together. There’s plenty of room to own ideas, and nowhere to hide. We work hard, care about what we’re building, and like having a good time along the way.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in content, creative, social, editorial, or a related field.
• A portfolio that shows how you think, not just what you’ve made.
• Strong conceptual and structural thinker who works productively to reach business goals.
• Independent worker with a strong visual sense and an eye for detail.
• Bonus points: If you can move easily between ideas, words, visuals, and emerging formats.
