Job description
Note: This job is a remote job and hence, it's open to all as long as you meet our requirements. Preferably in the same time-zone as Singapore/ Malaysia.
The Men's Cave, Singapore is looking to hire a dedicated and resilient Content Writer to write engaging content and articles for the company website, blog, product descriptions, social media, and the email newsletters.
The Content Writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, social media as well as to market the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms.
You need to be able to follow editorial & SEO guidelines when creating content. Ultimately, a goodContent Writer will be able to contribute to improved customer experience and conversion through a well thought out content strategy and engaging content.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics (Primarily: Games & Lifestyle) in order to develop original content.
- Developing content and articles for the company website, blog, social media and email newsletter that will contribute to conversions
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to user reading experience.
- Conduct keyword research and use good SEO practices to help the website rank.
- Identifying customers’ needs and strategise and plan new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
Requirements
- Portfolio of writing skills and articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Wordpress Content Management System
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Diploma or Degree in marketing, mass communications, journalism or equivalent
